Daniel Hormazábal and Kern Westerberg (also members of the highly regarded Trio Scandinavia) met during their study time at the prestigious chamber music education at Edsberg Castle in Sollentuna. Since 2012 they have performed together on stage at home and abroad.
Daniel Hormazábal is one of the most interesting and successful young Swedish pianists today. He debuted as a soloist in 2013 with Beethoven´s fifth Piano Concerto together with the Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra conducted by Simon Crawford-Phillips. In recent years Hormazábal has had an extensive performance schedule which has taken him to countries such as USA, Canada, Italy, France and the Czech Republic.
Kern Westerberg started playing the violin when he was 4 years old. He debuted with the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra at the age of 12 and has since then performed with Denmarks

Kern Westerberg and Daniel Hormazábal performs Mendelssohn's double concerto for piano, violin and string orchestra. This musical work, composed by Mendelssohn at the age of 14 demonstrates his incredible talent. He had already written three other works for solo instruments and orchestra at the time of the double concert final, a dozen strobe symphonies and most chamber music works.
